Is the Personal Annuity Plan really free?
Yes. There's no cost to you and no obligation to buy anything. Your advisor builds your plan after your first meeting, once they understand your goals and numbers, and it's yours to keep either way.
Who will I actually talk to?
A licensed insurance professional from the small team of retirement income advisors we partner with. After someone on the team confirms your details, your advisor reaches out to set up a meeting over Zoom, by phone, or in person. Our partner advisors are based in Colorado Springs, so in-person meetings happen there. They'll share their licensing and certifications in your first meeting so you can look them up.
Will my information be sold or sent to lots of agents?
No. Your information goes only to the small team of licensed advisors we partner with. We never sell it or share it with outside agents or lead lists.
How does BluePeak make money?
Our partner advisors pay BluePeak a small service fee to partner with us. You never pay BluePeak anything.
How much do I need to have saved?
Personal Annuity Plans are designed for people with about $250,000 or more in retirement savings. If you have less, you're still welcome to reach out and we'll point you in a helpful direction.
Is an annuity right for everyone?
No. Annuities work well for some goals, like protection and lifetime income, and poorly for others, like money you may need soon. Your plan will be honest about which camp you're in.
Is BluePeak an insurance company or financial advisor?
No. BluePeak is an independent referral service based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We don't sell insurance or give financial advice. We help you learn your options and connect you with a licensed professional who can.
Can I bring my spouse or keep my current advisor?
Of course. Many people review their plan with a spouse or adult child, and you're welcome to share it with any advisor you already work with.
